Sam has supported municipal, defense, and technology clients in their appropriations, NDAA and executive branch priorities. In this role, he assists with planning engagement strategy and ensuring clients have a handle on the evolving Congressional appropriations submission process.
Sam received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, along with a double minor in Computer Science and History. During his tenure at GW, he interned for 4 Members of Congress.
Before coming to IFS, Sam also worked at a civic education non-profit in his home state of Alabama, worked as an archival research assistant for the Albert H. Small Normandy Institute, and traveled abroad to conduct research on the Normandy Campaign. Like several other members of IFS, Sam is an Eagle Scout.
