Erynn Hook is a Senior Associate at Innovative Federal Strategies. She most recently served as Chief of Staff for a Member of the New York Congressional delegation. Erynn is from Western New York and served in various roles on Capitol Hill for 7+ years before joining the firm in 2020.
Erynn has a wide range of expertise, from administrative to legislative. While serving in the House, she led a team of 15 staff across three offices, the office budget, scheduling, day to day operations, and more. She also managed the Member’s Committee agenda, serving on the Energy and Commerce Committee and drove the Member’s overall legislative and political agenda while focusing on her primary issues of Defense, Transportation, Telecommunications and Technology. Erynn effectively worked across the aisle, succeeding in having multiple bills and district priorities signed into law.
Erynn received her Master of Military Operational Art and Science Degree from the US Air Force Air Command and Staff College in 2018 and earned her B.A. in Spanish, with a minor in Political Science from the University at Buffalo in 2012.
In addition to her work at IFS, Erynn is currently serving as the President of the Women’s Congressional Golf Association and as Vice President of Events for the New York State Society of Washington, DC.
