Ben Jarrett is an Associate at Innovative Federal Strategies.  Ben comes to the firm with over a decade of work interacting with the legislative and executive branches of the federal government, including over 5 years on Capitol Hill.  His most recent Capitol Hill experience came serving as Military Legislative Assistant for Congressman John R. Carter (TX-31), who chaired the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and sat on the Subcommittee on Defense at the time. 

Ben has also served as a senior advisor to the Federal Co-Chairman of the Appalachian Regional Commission, and as a political and legislative analyst for the Embassy of Israel in Washington DC’s Congressional Affairs Department.

Ben has a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and in his spare time is a military and political history enthusiast.  He is married and lives in Washington DC.
